New Staged Listing

I recently staged a beautiful home on Capitol Hill.  I used rich colors and some great Persian rugs to give it a bit of a traditional feel, but used clean lined furniture to keep it simple.

One of the things that makes this house so unique is that is was built to fit the pie-shaped lot. The house has many interesting angles making it visually appealing. It was a bit difficult to photograph, I must admit !Here are a few shots of how it turned out.

Another Vacant Property receives a Tilt transformation!

Last week I staged an older home with a fabulous location. The home sits on a double wide lot in Belgravia, just a stone throw away from the U of A. The property would be perfect for a professional working at the University.

The home received paint touch ups but the homeowner decided against changing the red living room.  As Tim Gunn would say, "make it work"... and I think we did just that.

Vacant Property Staging- Staged to sell!

Here are some photo's of Tilt's most recent staging! It was a beautiful brand new triplex unit in the mature neighborhood of Forest Heights.

Though staging is about using a universal style, the property itself and the potential buyer demographic determine what type of things I utilize in a property for staging.  This property is shiny and new, close to downtown and has urban furnishings. The way I styled the property reflects all of these things.

By staging only the main rooms of the house, I was able to keep the costs down for the seller but still able to show off the homes assets for the buyers.

Vacant Condo- Before and After Staging to Sell

On Friday I staged a vacant  two bedroom apartment style condo in Axxess Terwilligar Towne.
The building is home to many young professionals so I gave the condo a some what trendy look.
Unfortunately I started staging at 4pm and didn't finish until about 9:30pm so the lighting was difficult to work with on this dark rainy evening. It's a shame because I don't think the pictures are doing the rooms justice.

The Realtor, Gillian Stickney, likes to take her own photos of listings so I am sure she got some better shots on Saturday.

Ryan McCann and Tilt

I am very excited to be working with an exceptional Edmonton Realtor, Ryan McCann. Ryan will soon be offering his clients professional photography as well as home staging consultations (from Tilt) with his listings.

With over 3200 brokers and Realtors in Edmonton, sellers have so many to choose from!!! Sellers can shop for Realtors that offer them the ‘most’.

I have found Ryan’s marketing to be unique and ‘with the times’. Why? Well, firstly, his business cards have a QR code on them that, when scanned on your smart phone, bring you to his website. My next business cards must have this as well! Too cool.  Nextly, his website is unique and trendy, and it looks unlike any other Realtor sites I have visited (do let me know if you have seen some unique ones out there lately in Edmonton as well). Check it out and you will see what I mean.

There are many factors that determine how quickly a property sells: price, marketing, condition of the home and location, location, location. Having a Realtor that is eager to do the most to get a property sold quickly gives sellers piece of mind.

Ryan's service comes with professional photography--great pictures that boost online curb appeal, heightening buyer interest, as well as a home staging consultation from me--designed to help home owners best prepare their homes to appeal to the most buyers. Going with a Realtor that offers these services, is a huge marketing advantage and I am excited to be a part of it.

Have a great weekend everyone!
